Amber Lacompte

Triathlon & Duathlon

Live in the moment

My name is Amber, and I am a professional triathlete with a background in cycling. I started cycling in 2018 and later combined it with duathlon and triathlon. In 2025, I fully shifted my focus to middle distance triathlon, and in 2026 I will be racing with a pro license. I am particularly drawn to selective courses with elevation, which is why I often compete in French triathlons. Cycling remains my strongest and favorite discipline.

In 2026, my main races include Alpe d’Huez, Kraichgau 70.3, Gérardmer, the Belgian Middle Distance Championships at OpenLakes, and Obernai. Alongside my athletic career, I am completing a Master’s degree in Sports Coaching and Training at Ghent University and pursuing my Trainer A Triathlon certification. Long endurance rides in the mountains are my favorite, balanced with relaxed coffee rides.
