CrossFit and mountain biking - I am very adventurous and don't quickly say “no” to a challenge. I love adrenaline and competition. I try to look after my body and mind as well as possible so that I can explore my limits. Thanks to the Etixx products, I can combine my work as a physiotherapist perfectly with my sport, in terms of preparation, having the right energy during exercise/training and for the recovery period afterwards.

"Ni neuten - Ni pleujen.
Mind over body. Sweat is just fat crying."
My favourite Etixx products
Nutritional Energy Gel with cola flavour, by far my favourite while exercising. Tastes delicious and fills you with energy instantly! I often take the Energy Sport Bar or Energy Marzipan Sport Bar to work just before a training session to quell any initial feelings of hunger. It’s also pure nutrition for my muscles: Creatine and High Protein Shake.
My greatest sporting achievements
- Participation in the Olympic Games Vancouver 2010 Bobsleigh.
- 3x finisher Grand Raid Nissramont (long tour)
- Winning and making it onto the podium in various big CrossFit competitions
My personal records
- Deadlift: 150kg
- Front squat: 102kg
- Clean and Jerk: 90kg
- 500m concept 2 row: 1'36
- Snatch: 65kg
- Deep back squat: 115kg
My #GiveItYourAll moment in 2021
The current measures make it difficult to plan the season, but we still train almost every day. The CrossFit motto is therefore very appropriate: “expect the unexpected and prepare for the unknown”

As well as being a football trainer (SV Zulte-Waregem), activity leader and manager (Kazou and Route du Soleil) and a volunteer at the Ghent Red Cross, I am first and foremost a keen sportsman. After competitive swimming and football, I set my sights on extreme challenges: running 100km, Marathon des Sables, swimming the channel Dover-Calais, etc.Read more
