Running - Hellooo! I am Inge, soon to be 30. Although I used to prefer shorter distances (400m), I am currently enjoying long endurance runs in particular. I have completed my first half marathon. 2020 was supposed to be the year of my marathon, but unfortunately... Luckily, running is something we can also enjoy on our own. I have now been an Etixx ambassador for just over a year. Although I was totally not into sports nutrition before, I have now more than discovered the benefits. Using the right products at the right time really can make a world of difference, not just before, during or after your training runs, but certainly also in competitions. And no, you definitely don't have to be a professional athlete for that. The main lesson I’ve learned thanks to my experience with Etixx is that your body works like a car. With the right fuel and a small amount of timely maintenance, you will always get further.

My favourite Etixx products

I regularly take courses of Magnesium 100% Bisglycinate PRO LINE. In addition, I find the sport bars Natural Oat Sport Bar or Energy Marzipan Sport Bar really tasty as a pre-run snack. They fill my stomach and also give me the energy I need for my training. The Isotonic Drink Energy Gels have also definitely made my life better (my favourite is with apple). For a longer run, I sometimes dare to eat some Caffeine Sport Gummies on the way for that final boost. After long runs, I tend to choose the Recovery Shake PRO LINE (with chocolate). It’s not just delicious, it’s also super effective.


My greatest sporting achievements 

The fact that I enjoy my runs so much, that it no longer feels like a chore (compared to before). I have learnt to run for myself. Not to prove myself. But to make myself feel 100 percent good. And something like that shines out of you. I absolutely love convincing as many people as possible to become as obsessed with running as me!

My #GiveItYourAll moment in 2021

I almost don’t dare say it, but I hope that 2021, instead of 2020, will be the year of my first marathon. But safety first. It is certainly doing me no harm to enjoy every run.

Rowing - I played football in the Dutch Premier League until I was 18. I found out I was talented at other sports (running, cycling etc.) and discovered rowing through my college. I have now been doing the sport for 3 years indoors and another 1 year on the water. After becoming world champion in indoor rowing, my main goal is the Paris Olympic Games in2024 (on the water). I am now entering my second year as an Etixx ambassador. I am very happy to represent a brand that, just like me, always aims to be the best!
