Hi. I am Robbert Slagers, I am most happy when I run that gives me so much joy. I did different sports like korfball, hocke and basketball. Until my son's BSO school asked if I wanted to join the kids run of the Eindhoven Marathon. I liked it so much and it was a great experience that I started getting into running. I started training to get my fitness level up, so that I could start achieving my goal of running a longer distance at the Eindhoven Marathon one day.
Then I also started my Instagram page to share my passion for running with other people to motivate them to start running. Due to my work as a truck driver, it is not always easy to find time to train. Time that I have, I try to train to achieve my next goal. Also, I want to show that anyone can run as long as you believe that anything is possible, even you can achieve it.

I drink the Recovery Shake PRO LINE after heavy workouts and races. I also use the Isotonic to keep my energy levels up during races and replenish my minerals and, of course, the Energy Gels are also great during races and training sessions.
10 km marathon Eindhoven in a nice time.

I started running at the age of 41, ran my first marathon at 43 and gradually evolved into an ultrarunner. I am the only Belgian woman to have finished the Spartathlon ultrarace (246 km) twice, holding the Belgian female's course record. My achievements also include becoming the female Belgian champion in the 100 km race and completing the grueling Marathon des Sables. In 2024, I set out to break the world record for consecutive marathons, running 366 marathons in 366 days in support of BIG against Breastcancer. Through extreme weather, injuries, and relentless challenges, I never gave up, fueled by Etixx sports nutrition and the determination and support of my husband Bruno, friends, and sponsors. With an unbreakable spirit and a heart for charity, I'm planning to continue to inspire other people on my journey of resilience and dedication.
