A neurosurgeon by profession and an ultratrail runner by passion, he is someone who constantly pushes the boundaries of his physical and mental limits. Through his dedication to the trail, he seeks not just personal achievement but also a deeper purpose — using his journey to inspire, help others, and make a positive impact. His relentless drive is fueled by the belief that challenges, whether on the operating table or in the wilderness, can lead to meaningful deeds that extend far beyond oneself.

Triathlon
I am Jelle Geens, and I participate in triathlon. I am the first and still the only Belgian to ever win a World Triathlon Championship Series. Of the three disciplines, my favorite is running, especially long-distance tempo runs.

I am Dries Matthys or 'Matitser' aka 'The Cathedral of Wezemaal' and I extremely enjoy doing sports. I've been doing triathlon for 15 years and I hope to add at least another 15 years to that. And if it's up to me, like to race for another 15 years as a pro against the best triathletes in the world on the biggest stage in our sport: Ironman. Tip of the day: Life is more than just sport, don't forget to laugh with your mates and do something crazy once in a while :)
Lee masRunning and fitness
Hi. I am Robbert Slagers, I am most happy when I run that gives me so much joy. I did different sports like korfball, hockey and basketball. Until my son's BSO school asked if I wanted to join the kids run of the Eindhoven Marathon. I liked it so much and it was a great experience that I started getting into running. I started training to get my fitness level up, so that I could start achieving my goal of running a longer distance at the Eindhoven Marathon one day.
