Thomas Haitsma

My name is Thomas Haitsma, and I am the starting lacrosse goalie for the Men's Dutch national team. With over 15 years of experience in lacrosse and the past 7 years on the national team, I have had the honor of competing in 2 World Championships and 1 European qualifier. As lacrosse prepares for its debut in the 2028 Olympics in LA, I am dedicated to intense training and relentless pursuit of excellence to secure my spot and represent the Netherlands on this historic stage. My journey is driven by a passion for the sport and an unwavering commitment to being the best athlete I can be.

Hello, I am Thomas De Bock, 31 years old and working as a doctoral student at the research group of sports management at UGent. In between working hours I run a lot of kilometres, mostly in preparation of a marathon. In the past, I have already tasted European and World Championships but I still have two major goals in my athletics career, namely to run under 2h10 at the marathon and qualifying for the Olympic marathon in 2024.
