I am Jeroen de Haas, born in 1972 and living in Rotterdam. Cycling, especially gravel riding, is my greatest passion, but hiking and skiing also complete my adventurous life. Through WebHaaZ.nl, I take you along on all my journeys: from dusty gravel roads to snow covered mountain peaks, from long walks through quiet forests to the adrenaline of steep descents.
My love for cycling started at the age of seven at R.W.C. Ahoy, and that spark has never faded. In 2009, I returned to cycling and took on the challenge of Alpe d’HuZes, not only for the sport itself, but above all to make a difference and raise money for cancer research. It was tough, it was beautiful, and it confirmed what I have always believed: giving up is not an option.
Alongside my sporting adventures, I work in specialized laboratory software and regularly travel throughout Europe. But wherever I am, authenticity remains my compass. Everything I share on WebHaaZ.nl is honest, personal, and pure, unfiltered, without sponsorship ever taking the lead.
