Dries Matthys
I am Dries Matthys or 'Matitser' aka 'The Cathedral of Wezemaal' and I extremely enjoy doing sports. I've been doing triathlon for 15 years and I hope to add at least another 15 years to that. And if it's up to me, like to race for another 15 years as a pro against the best triathletes in the world on the biggest stage in our sport: Ironman. Tip of the day: Life is more than just sport, don't forget to laugh with your mates and do something crazy once in a while :)

- 4th at Europetriatlon European Championship half triathlon in Menen 2023
- 8th Ironman Knokke, 70.3
- Belgian champion U23 Olympic distance
- 5th place Alpe D'huez triathlon L
