Let’s kick it! On Sunday, March 2, 2025, you’ll kick off the Flemish spring just like the pros during the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad Cyclo. 4 distances and two starting locations: the choice is yours! Those starting from Ninove can choose 60, 80, or 125 kilometers of spring cycling fun through the Flemish Ardennes. The true diehard Flandrians can begin their season with a tough 150-kilometer ride. You’ll start and finish at the Kuipke in Ghent.

At the end of March, Sportevents has been organizing the "Grand Raid Weekend" in La Roche-en-Ardenne since 2010. The Grand Raid is an adventurous duo race that combines kayaking, trail running, mountain biking, and bike running. After a few years of organizing in Nisramont, the football field in Berismenil became the permanent base.

After two editions of the Schietsjampetterloop and the second edition of the Ultron Duathlon Kruisem, the Ultron board has decided to fully focus on the duathlon sport on Thursday, May 1, 2025. In addition to our main event, which is once again included in the Lotto Duathlon Series, we will organize a race for the youth and recreational athletes. The races will take place on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at our usual location in the center of Kruishoutem. We will guide the participants through the beautiful and panoramic landscape of Kruisem. The undulating and challenging course will guarantee a selective battle.

On one of the longest Sundays of the year, we’ll embark on an ultra gravel adventure from Merksplas through the historic Taxandria region. We offer routes of 100 kilometers, 100 miles, or the ultra-challenging 200 miles (322 km). All routes are fully supported with abundant feed stations and mechanical assistance, starting at sunrise. The PlugPlug Hageland Marathon blends all these ingredients into a recipe closer to home. Just like in Tuscany, the Hageland is filled with winding gravel roads. It’s a constant up and down, and you’ll also cycle through vineyards. Choose between 65, 110, or 150 kilometers. You can decide on the day itself which distance to ride.

On Sunday, August 24th, the "Ride Leuven" is on the program, a delightful cycling event in and around Leuven where we invite everyone, young and old, to join us for a ride and support the event in a summer setting. The city center of Leuven will be closed to traffic throughout the day. For those who want to cycle through the city at a relaxed pace, a local loop of 20 km will be available. This will be open to recreational cyclists between 11:00 and 13:00. After that, it will be reserved for the professional race (Tour of Leuven). Everyone is welcome: young and old, beginners and advanced, with family or solo. You can enjoy a fun and carefree cycling course.

The two longer distances will take you over the language border and add a bit more elevation to your ride.

Enjoy the stunning Nisramont dam, both next to and on the water! The duos must stay together throughout the entire race. You will start together with the other duos, running from the Adeps center on a 6km trail to the Nisramont dam. Then, hop into a kayak for a 2km paddle across the lake to Engreux. Once there, you'll complete a 5km loop run. Next, you'll return to the water for the kayak ride back to Nisramont. Finally, a 7km trail run to Engreux concludes this exciting adventure!

On one of the longest Sundays of the year, we’ll go ultra graveling from Leuven through the Brabantse Wouden National Park: think Hallerbos, Meerdaalwoud, Zoniënwoud, and the green valleys of rivers like the Dijle. Heaven for those who love a challenge, gravel as it should be, and with the necessary elevation gain.

Mark your calendar in red: the Taxandria Ultra on Saturday, June 28, and Sunday, June 29, 2025. On one of the longest Sundays of the year, we’ll embark on an ultra gravel adventure from Merksplas through the historic Taxandria region. We offer routes of 100 kilometers, 100 miles, or the ultra-challenging 200 miles (322 km). All routes are fully supported with abundant feed stations and mechanical assistance, starting at sunrise. On Saturday, there’s a gravel expo with a cozy terrace.
