Antonio Serrat
I discovered triathlon through my father, who practiced it at an amateur level, and as a very young child, I would accompany him to the races he participated in Galicia.
I started practicing triathlon at the age of 13 in the sports schools of Vigo. What began as a game gradually became something more serious. At the age of 15, I moved to the Galician Center for Sports Technification in Pontevedra to train, study, and live. From that moment on, triathlon became my daily life.
Currently, I dedicate myself to Olympic distance triathlon. I train an average of 25 hours per week during training camps and pre-season.

Hi, I am a Ghent alumni Sports Management at UGent, and now work as CEO of Padel Kiosk. Besides padel trainer, animator and board (Kazou and Route du Soleil) and volunteer at Red Cross-Ghent, I am above all an avid sportsman. After competitive swimming and football, I set my sights on padel and extreme challenges: Gran Fondo Marmottes Alpes, 100km running, Marathon des Sables, swimming the Dover-Calais Canal, etc.

If I had to describe myself in a few words I would say: Spontaneous, authentic, determined, passionate, independent and lively. I think spontaneous and authentic reflect me well, determined and passionate about my vision and the approach I have to my sport and independent and lively how I like to build life.

I am Dries Matthys or 'Matitser' aka 'The Cathedral of Wezemaal' and I extremely enjoy doing sports. I've been doing triathlon for 15 years and I hope to add at least another 15 years to that. And if it's up to me, like to race for another 15 years as a pro against the best triathletes in the world on the biggest stage in our sport: Ironman. Tip of the day: Life is more than just sport, don't forget to laugh with your mates and do something crazy once in a while :)
