Gaëtan Laine

A neurosurgeon by profession and an ultratrail runner by passion, he is someone who constantly pushes the boundaries of his physical and mental limits. Through his dedication to the trail, he seeks not just personal achievement but also a deeper purpose — using his journey to inspire, help others, and make a positive impact. His relentless drive is fueled by the belief that challenges, whether on the operating table or in the wilderness, can lead to meaningful deeds that extend far beyond oneself.

I have also been able to take part in a few Etixx events such as the Ghent-Wevelgem Cyclo, a fantastic experience!

I’ve gone through a bad stage this last year which forced me to stop running for an indeterminate time but i’m trying to improve my cycling to race at the highest level. I’m so glad that I can combine sports and studying in my life, that makes me so happy.
